Strong Suits:
☠ High level of freedom and customization
☠ Multiple paths to choose and ways to play
☠ A lot to do in the final stage
☠ Highly replayable

Weak Points:
☠ The game can be completed rather quickly.
☠ The cell stage is all together to short.
☠ Although different paths are available, the game is pretty linear.
☠ A lot of parts/builds don’t really matter/affect your gameplay.

Comments:
Spore is from a different time in games. A time I love dearly. Spore is not for everyone, but if you enjoyed it in the past, or like sciency type games (SimEarth, The Creatures Series, SimAnt, ETC.) then you are going to love playing Spore.


Follow your own species, from a single cell floating in the primordial soup, all the way to a dominant species present all over different star systems across the galaxy. Play with Ecology, Terraform planets to your liking, or simply wage an endless war, Spore really makes the galaxy your playground. I love this game, and if it had just a bit more depth it would be a perfect game.


P.S.: Steam should definitely add Steam achievements for Spore, there is already an achievement system present in the game.
